The Wiesenhof is a sophisticated hotel for children and parents who want to experience nature as well as comfort and wellness.
In our hotel children can find a natural approach to nature and animals. In summer, our small pets like rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, ducks and chicken run loose in our garden. The handling of our “bigger ” animals such as our alpacas, donkeys and horses can be learned – and the children also learn how living creatures differ from a “toy” and that animals want to be treated just like humans.
An Indian proverb says: “Treat a stone like a plant, a plant like an animal and an animal like a human being! “
Children’s Playroom at the Wiesenhof
At the Wiesenhof parents do not need to worry enjoying a good glass of wine at the bar or socializing with new friends in our lounge while their kids are playing just a few steps away, downstairs in the children’s playroom. We have a lot of toys there: Lego, plush figures, an adventure castle, painting utensils and a lot more interesting toys, which stimulate the creativity and fantasy of kids.

Winter Fun at Lake Achensee – Children learn how to ski / cross-country ski
In winter evereything centers on BOBO, the penguin of the ski school Leithner in Pertisau. Children from ages 3 to 13 years have a lot of fun with special skiing lessons, which are based on a story of the penguin BOBO. The story has been developed by experts in motivation, childrens psychology, safety and pedagogic learning.
Summer Fun at Lake Achensee – Programme for Children and Teenagers
The family region Achensee offers a diversified weekly summer holiday programme for all kids ages 4 to 12 years. From July to September, the kids can expect an exciting weekly programme. Our experienced attendants guarantee summer vacation with a lot of fun, adventure and creativity. You will explore our region, and find many a treasure. Don’t miss our programme and spend adventurous summer holidays at lake Achensee!
Meeting Point:
Tourist Office Pertisau 9:45h
Your children will be cordially received 15 minutes before departure at the meeting place. A fun bus ride will take us to our starting point. Please bring your children on time, otherwise we cannot guarantee participation since the buses have to follow their timetables. Please provide your children with the white bus ticket which you will have received at the reception in your hotel. The bus ticket allows free transfer, otherwise the bus fare will be charged to you. The children’s programme takes place at the same time from Monday to Friday.

Where do I register for the programme?
Please register at the reception until 16.00h the day before.
How much does the daily programme cost?
The cost for the programme is € 10,00 per day and child and includes lunch and a beverage.
Where is the meeting point?
Please bring your children 10 minutes before departure to the meeting point where they will be cordially received by our attendants. At 15.30h please pick up your children at the meeting point.
Good to Know
The children should wear sturdy shoes and bring appropriate clothing as well as a small supply of beverages (which is kindly provide to you at the Wiesenhof). The programme will take place in any weather.
